During the 2010 Second Regular Session of the 116th Indiana General Assembly, House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1193 was passed. HEA 1193 was placed, in part, into code as IC 20-34-6 Student Safety Reporting. IC 20-34-6-1 requires school corporations to report student arrest data to the Indiana Department of Education.
