Our first IACTE meeting of the new year is scheduled for Friday, January 27th. We have a very informative meeting addressing the Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) planned, as well as time to discuss the proposed “REPA 2.” In preparation for the meeting, you are encouraged to review the following materials. The topic for this meeting will be the Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) being promoted by AACTE and most recently, by the NEA. The TPA has been adopted for its initial field test by 21+ states as a way for teacher preparation programs to document accountability and generate national norms, especially as national and state forces are calling for such accountability.
